Preventative Care And Wellness Exam

Keep Your Pet Healthy with Routine Wellness Care

At Mililani Town Center Pet Clinic, we believe preventative care is one of the most important investments you can make in your pet's long-term health. Regular wellness exams allow our veterinarians to monitor your pet's health, identify potential concerns early, and provide personalized care through every stage of life.

Whether you have a playful puppy, an active adult pet, or a beloved senior companion, our team is committed to helping your pet live a longer, healthier life.

Puppy & Kitten Exams

Bringing home a new puppy or kitten is an exciting time, and our veterinary team is here to help your newest family member get the healthiest start possible. Early wellness visits include physical examinations, vaccinations, and parasite screenings designed to protect your pet during their most vulnerable months.

Vaccinations typically begin around eight weeks of age and continue through at least sixteen weeks. Fecal testing may also be recommended to identify and treat intestinal parasites.

Annual Wellness Exams

Routine annual exams provide an opportunity for our veterinarians to evaluate your pet's overall health and detect potential problems before they become more serious.

Annual wellness visits may include:

  • Comprehensive physical examination
  • Vaccination boosters
  • Heartworm testing
  • Parasite screening and fecal testing
  • Nutritional and wellness recommendations

The American Heartworm Association recommends annual heartworm testing, even for pets currently receiving preventative medications.
